Full ITV4 TV guide for the European Championship 2019

27As ever, the European Championship will be live on ITV4 in 2019.

Last year, James Wade powered through the field to pick up the title. In an emotional final, the Machine marked the birth of his first child with a maiden European Championship success. Both he and beaten finalist Simon Whitlock are among the 32-strong field.

This year, the Lokhalle in Göttingen will play host to the European Tour season-ender. From October 24-27, competitors will battle it out for a share of the £500,000 pot - which includes £120,000 for the winner.

ITV4 coverage

Every dart thrown at the European Championship will be shown by ITV4. Fronted by Jacqui Oatley and leaning on expert insight from the likes of Chris Mason and Alan Warriner-Little, ITV's coverage will be a tonic for fans bemused by the BBC's efforts at the Champions League of Darts.

The first session broadcast is on Thursday evening, with Friday's coverage split across afternoon and evening sessions. Play is limited to the evening on Saturday, before Sunday's schedule takes up both afternoon and evening.

The semi-finals and final will be played on Sunday evening, with the European Championship winner crowned at around 10pm.

It's easy enough to remember the timings. Afternoon sessions start on ITV4 at 11:45am (BST). The evening sessions all start at 6pm, ending at around 10pm.
