- Phil, you are a legend. I suggest you get your own board and darts, and reconsider,as you couldn't beat anyone on the seniors tour, and it sounds sadly, like you're after 1 final payout. Stick to retirement, and let us all remember you for the genius you were
- It's not about Luke LIttler. I am a big fan of his, and I feel sorry for him too, as he would want to win these games without the crowd being biased one way or the other. Regardless of who is playing or where, I want to see a fair contest.
- Do you honestly think that this type of crowd noise only happens in the UK? When Dirk van Duijvenbode faced Luke Littler - Dutch Masters, 2024... he was jeered far worse than tonight. Where was your outrage then? Stop being so biased and sensitive about an 18-year-old. Honestly, some of my fellow Brits have a real problem supporting their own fellow countrymen and women.
- Rob Cross would have glided over the line with 6-2 had the crowd not gotten very hostile. You could see it was bad enough to put him off. It's a shame for the sport. I just want to see the better player on the night win, not players getting booed and belittled for no reason.
- The BBC used to be a broadcaster for the people. But, sadly, it's not been that way for a long time, despite the people bankrolling it..
- This is i believe the second best performance by a woman against a man in a ranking event?
Mensur Suljovic was ranked 11 when Fallon Sherrock beat him at the World Championship, Rock is ranked 17 currently.
- This would be logical except that Aspinall (as far as i can see) won literally no ranking tournament in 2024, Price won a couple of non ranking events, Dobey at least won 3 Players Championship rounds.
- BBC and other media hardly mention Cross winning, its all about the golden child losing.
- This lunacy gets worse. Eight pampered players can get another 30 grand, four of whom were invited, meanwhile 120 other players many of whom have a regular job have to take time off work to compete for scraps at Players Championships.
