MAD set to hold at least 4 major events over the next twelve months

MAD (Modern Amateur Darts) is the new venture ran by Steve Brown and has been a major talking point since its iteration in terms of the plans to run the amateur side of darts.

It has now been confirmed with Darts World that this new organisation is set to move at a pace; it hopes to hold at least four major events over the next twelve months.

These events will be open to all MAD registered players; with Super Regional Directors being appointed all over the country for the different Super Regions; which comprise multiple towns/cities together under one banner.

These majors will supposedly be held all across the UK; with the venues and format to be decided

Steve Brown who like alluded to is fronting the operation and has vast experience with his running of the JDC said it will be a calendar which is 'full and varied'.

"We are determined to provide a full and varied calendar of darts for those not within the 'elite' section of the PDC system. The MAD majors will be an exciting part of that."
