Jeroen Mioch is the first finalist in the final week of the
MODUS Super Series. That means the Dutchman is free for the next few days and can watch who will be his opponents on Saturday during the finale of this cycle.
During the final week of the
MODUS Super Series, the 12 weekly winners will face each other divided into three pools. Through these pools, players can qualify for the final group on Saturday, Aug. 5. Then they will compete for the top prize of £20,000.
From Monday through Wednesday, the matches in Group A were played. The six players in this pool played once each day against the other players in the group. Mioch managed to win as many as 12 of his 15 matches. With a point total of 24, he relegated
Steve West (20 points) to second place. West, along with
Luke Littler (18 points), will move on to Group B, where they will compete with Colin Osborne, Neil Duff and Danny Lauby for three starting spots for the final group.
The numbers four through six also get a re-match.
Reece Robinson (16 points),
Berry van Peer (8 points) and
Andy Boulton (4 points) end up in Group C, where they are joined by Jelle Klaasen, Rene Eidams and Patrick van den Boogaard. In this pool two starting spots can be earned for Saturday's final.
