Kenyan darter Peter Wachiuri will soon have a chance to compete against several international opponents in the MODUS Super Series, a weekly online darts competition held at a studio in Portsmouth.

The darter from Kenya became famous last year when he narrowly missed out on the World Darts Championship. During the African qualifying tournament, he fell one leg short of making history as the first Kenyan participant in the World Darts Championship.

Wachiuri stole the hearts of darts fans by reaching the final of the African qualifying tournament in Kenya. In the end, the win in the final went 8-7 to South African Cameron Carolissen. So despite that disappointment, Wachiuri had made a name for himself and will now get another chance to showcase himself internationally at the MODUS Super Series.

The MODUS Super Series is a weekly tournament with 12 players competing from Monday through Friday for a spot in the final group, which takes place on Saturday night. The event has previously served as a springboard for talents who later managed to prove themselves on the PDC tour. Wachiuri can use this opportunity to definitely put his name on the international map and gain experience against strong opponents.
