Lauby refuses to give up hope of getting a Tour Card: "I put so much pressure on myself sometimes"

Danny Lauby Jr. made the crossing from the USA to England a few years ago to make his darts dream come true. Since then, it hasn't always been easy.

"I love it you know, I love the weather here," Lauby says in an interview with the MODUS Super Series's YouTube channel. "The competition here is great. Love the environment, love the people. Level of play here is just different gravy, you know."

One thing the 30-year-old American is yet to truly grab however, is to achieve a Tour Card, something he still strives for an believes he is capable of taking. "I need to get a Tour Card. I just need to win like, I put so much pressure on myself sometimes and that was probably one of my biggest flaws."

"You're like, expected to have a Tour Card," he continues. "I feel like I'm doing better by just keeping it simple, back to basics. If you do the work, you deserve to win."
