As well as the Granite City Masters, the exhibition action headed to Cheltenham with
Luke Humphries defeating
Rob Cross in the final match of the night to continue his PDC World Darts Championship preparation.
Humphries defeated Rob Cross 4-1 in the show closer in Cheltenham. Both go to Boston tonight as well as Scott Williams, the Showman who hails from the town with Luke Littler once again are in Scotland with Nathan Aspinall.
Prior to that though was probably the moment of the night as
Josh Rock defeated
Stephen Bunting 4-3 after the pair swapped darts in the deciding leg. This is some feat given Bunting used the lightest darts of a top player at some point.
Steve Beaton was also involved and rolled back the years with a 4-0 win over Josh Rock prior to that win for the Northern Irish ace over Stephen Bunting. Simon Whitlock also played fresh off the plane after sealing the ANZ Premier League.
Whitlock of course hails from this part of the world ordinarily anyway. Jayden Walker, the rising talent also was involved albeit results aren't known for either of their ties. But Humphries got his preparation well underway for Ally Pally and heads onto tonight just a few weeks before the PDC World Darts Championship.
