The Masters kicks off at Milton Keynes this weekend but following that the 128 players in the PDC Pro Tour start their season off at the UK Open Qualifiers. This also include the top-128 players who did not gain a PDC Tour Card from Q-School with the likes of Jamie Hughes and Cameron Menzies part of that as well as Dean Winstanley, Ted Evetts and Jeff Smith.

The top 64 of course has a notable absentee in the form of Phil Taylor who has retired which in effect has moved players up which means they are safe for the time being in terms of rankings in the tour card race for next season.
The likes of John Part, Paul Nicholson, Richie Burnett and Ronnie Baxter will be hoping for some good runs this year to assure them of not having to go back to Q-School next year.
Also the focus will be on the likes of Danny Noppert, Davy van Baelen, Nathan Aspinall and Bradley Brooks as for three out of the four they make their debuts on the tour and for Monk and Tabern they make their long awaited full time returns to the tour.
As well as that we will see the debut of Luke Humphries who won the Development Tour and the 3rd place player who also gained a tour card due to Van den Bergh already having one with Adam Hunt who is a regular fixture on the tour anyway filling out a lot of Players Championship line ups last year joining him.
Mark Dudbridge and Wayne Jones have also got their tour cards back due to the Challenge Tour and will be hoping to roll back the years on their return to the elite of darts.
