Anastasia Dobromyslova has reached the Lakeside semi-finals without dropping a single leg.
The three-time world champion followed up a 2-0 thrashing of Anca Zijlstra by defeating third seed Lorraine Winstanley by the same scoreline. Dobromyslova was taking on her best friend in darts, but offered Winstanley little charity on the Lakeside stage. The World Masters champion had just two attempts at a double.
The Russian averaged 85 as she powered away from a misfiring Winstanley. The Englishwoman could only average 67 in a sub-par showing. Double 10 was especially kind to Dobromyslova, who hit six of her 11 darts at a double and struck a 180. She will take on Trina Gulliver in the semi-finals.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
