Anderson hits 110 average in quarter-final win over Clayton in Minehead

Gary Anderson could be well on his way to completing the clean sweep in Minehead this year after a superb performance against Jonny Clayton to reach the semi-Finals.

Anderson hit a 110 average in a 10-4 win over the Ferret who was last year’s finalist and a man in form.
This means now that unless Danny Noppert wins there will not be a new major champion.
In the three sessions, it went 3-2, 3-2 then 4-0 showing the true ruthless nature of Anderson.
Also along the way he hit 10/15 on his doubles against the Welshman and could play Michael van Gerwen in the semi’s in a clash that could decide the winner.
Mighty Mike plays in the final game of the session against Carlow ace Steve Lennon.
