Steve Beaton has reached the last 32 of the International Darts Open after producing a fine comeback to overcome Vincent van der Voort.
The Dutchman started better and took a 4-1 lead. However, he found less trebles after five legs and Beaton came back to 4-4. The former world champion then broke Van der Voort's throw for a 5-4 lead, however Beaton missed four matchdarts to claim victory in the tenth leg.
'The Dutch Destroyer' checked out 58 to level and force a legdecider. 'The Bronzed Adonis' kicked off with 134 and 139, before he hit double 2 to seal the win.
Robert Marijanovic hit a ton plus average to beat Jan Dekker 6-4, while James Wilson defeated Adam Huckvale with the same scoreline. Ryan Joyce overcame Gabriel Clemens after a legdecider.
