Both Kim Huybrechts and Dimitri van den Bergh claimed victories in their respective singles matches meaning it was the third clean sweep in a row of the session.
Huybrechts started proceedings off facing off against Martin Schindler in a match he would have been favourite in from the outset due to Schindler's form as of late.
It was nervy to start off with Huybrechts missing five darts at doubles allowing Schindler to nick the leg with an 83 checkout. 'The Hurricane' breezed through the next leg though hitting a 75 checkout to make it 1-1.
From there though, Schindler went one away hitting seven perfect darts to lead 3-2 but this was all in vein with Huybrechts sending it all the way.
Schindler was made to pay this time as he missed four match darts allowing Huybrechts to steal the first point.
Following that it was the two most in-form players in the respective teams in Dimitri van den Bergh and Max Hopp.
Despite that though, Van den Bergh breezed past the German in a whitewash win allowing the Belgian side to spoil the party and reach yet another Quarter-Final in the tournament which seems to produce the best out of both players.
