Scotland are through safely to the Quarter-Finals as expected after Gary Anderson and Peter Wright came through their respective singles matches.

Anderson started proceedings off for the pair against the retiring Magnus Caris who's final professional match was a whitewash loss to the two time World Champion.
It was interesting to see beforehand just how well Anderson would play due to his lack of competitive action especially on the big stage this year but he averaged 96 which included 50 percent on his doubles and a high checkout of 76.
Caris played poorly and averaged 69 and wasn't even given a dart at a double meaning an easy passage for 'The Flying Scotsman' who will believe there is more in the tank.
Wright on the other hand faced a potentially tough test in Dennis Nilsson who has a lot of experience like Caris and it nearly didn't go 'Snakebite's way.
Nilsson led the tie early on capitalising on some poor set-up play from Wright but the Scot came back well taking the 2-1 lead and then hitting a brilliant 121 checkout.
Iron Man came back to trail 3-2 but Wright squeezed through to put up his end of the bargain and make sure the tie didn't go to a pairs contest.
