Rob Cross and Mensur Suljovic are set to face off in the second Quarter-Final at the German Darts Grand Prix after both impressed in their respective wins.

Cross especially, who came from 4-1 down to deny Daryl Gurney in a thrilling 6-5 win for ‘Voltage’. The former World Champion has been in brilliant form this year and with Gurney similarly playing well it was a classic. He hit a 110.98 average (Gurney also above the 100 with 101.91) with five 180’s in the end to cement this. His check out percentage was 46.15% and Gurney had 35.71%.
Suljovic also impressed but mainly due to the conclusion to his tie with Dave Chisnall. ‘The Gentle’ smashed in a 136 checkout against the St Helens ace in the deciding leg to win through. He also hit five 180’s en route in another hotly contested clash in Munich. Suljovic his average was with 94.29 a lot lower then the 100.14 from Chisnall. Even the checkout percentages were almost the same with respectively 46.15% for Suljovic and 45.45% for Chizzy.
