Michael van Gerwen and Ted Evetts are the first two players through to the Quarter-Finals at the German Darts Grand Prix.

Van Gerwen saw off Stephen Bunting in a 6-1 rout, which included a 106 average from the defending champion. ‘MVG’ despite not playing his best darts so far this year has as often as he does kept up his form on the Euro Tour and still looks the man to beat. He will face Ted Evetts in the Quarter-Finals who’s form so far this year continues.
Evetts reaches this stage for the first time in his career after he saw off Ricky Evans in a 6-4 win with four 180’s and a 96 average and a 40% check out (Evans 33.33%). Could ‘Super Ted’ cause the shock and take out the World Number One??
