Statistics go a long way in showing who the players currently on form are on the PDC tour. So far in the 2018 season Rob Cross leads the scoring statistics both hitting scores of above 170 and the 180s.

Ochepedia as seen below showed that Cross has hit more than anyone currently in the PDC leaders in scoring so far this year in terms of scores of 171, 174, 177 and 180. Cross hits on average 1 maximum every 2.61 legs showing supreme form.
He also leads the 180's hit on the main tour so far this season with 273. This is 13 more than the closest rival he has in Daryl Gurney. World Number One Michael van Gerwen is down in 3rd place with 247 180's so far this year.
The list also includes in form players like Michael Smith, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Adrian Lewis showing that scoring does make a huge difference especially so far this year in the PDC.
