Danny Noppert has reached the final of the
Finder Darts Masters 2017. 'Noppie' mounted a superb comeback to reach that final and came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against 'Scotty Dog' Scott Mitchell.
It seemed like Noppert was down and out but he kept on going and when it got to 2-2 he had the throw in 2 out of 3 legs in the final set so he could power through to a final against either Jamie Hughes or
Jim Williams after becoming the first Dutchman since 2004 to reach the final after Barney was the last man.
He will play the Welshman, Jim Williams in the final after the Women's final between Deta Hedman and Aileen de Graaf. It will decide the third champion of the day after Jarred Cole won the youth final as well. Williams survived a late rally from Jamie Hughes to reach that final with it going to a deciding set and Williams holding his nerve to pin D10 to secure the victory and face Noppert later.
