The line up for the Finder Darts Masters 2017 Semi-Finals have been confirmed to take place shortly as the tournament at the Hotel Zuiderduin comes to a close.
Scott Mitchell will take on
Danny Noppert and
Jamie Hughes will face
Jim Williams with barring probably Glen Durrant and Cameron Menzies the cream of the
BDO crop have reached the latter stages.
Mitchell defeated Darius Labanauskas in a classy performance from 'Scotty Dog' who will be looking to recapture some of the form that saw him win the World Championship at the Lakeside in preparation to go there again to try and win another and with a 3-0 win going into a clash with Noppert it does him no harm whatsoever.
Noppert himself came through a good performance against Willem Mandigers winning 3-1 in an all-dutch affair. 'Noppie' has not played that much this year on the BDO tour as he gears up for a potential switch to the PDC in 2018 and great performances in this tournament may show why he is rumoured to be leaving the BDO.
Following that there was Wesley 'Sparky' Harms vs Jamie Hughes which was won by the Tipton ace by 3 sets to 0. Harms didn't really turn up and was punished by 'Yozza' who will be looking to add a second Finder crown to the one he won back in 2014.
He will face Jim Williams who played in a good game with Scott Waites coming through by 3 sets to 2 featuring a 130 and 105 checkout from the Welshman who will face Hughes in what is bound to be a great match.
