Daryl Gurney brought the Board 2 at the Red's Bar to a close by dispatching Chris Dobey. 'Superchin' has to be one of the favourites to win the title by the end of tomorrow and kept his hopes alive as a result. He defeated Dobey 10-5 to reach yet another Quarter-Final in a stellar year for the World Grand Prix champion and he had a 102 average and four 180's to boot.
Also through in the last game of the day on the main stage was
Jan Dekker, the Dutchman will play Michael van Gerwen in his first major quarter-final in an all-dutch affair after defeating one of the standout performers of the year Peter Jacques. He won 10-5 with averages in the 80's and will have to up that massively to cause a seismic shock tomorrow afternoon against Mighty Mike.
