Draw for the 2018 European Championship confirmed: Nicholson to face MVG

Straight after the conclusion of the European Darts Trophy, the draw was announced for the European Championship taking place next month in Dortmund.

Among the stand out ties include Michael van Gerwen versus Paul Nicholson with the draw done based on respective seedings. Former finalist Mensur Suljovic is the second seed at the European Championship and he will take on Cristo Reyes.
Daryl Gurney vs Ricky Evans is also a standout, as is a clash of two of the biggest power scorers in the game in Adrian Lewis and Dave Chisnall.
Of course there is no Gary Anderson involved or Raymond van Barneveld who both opt out of competing on the European Tour.
