Van Gerwen claims eighth European Tour title of 2018 defeating Wade in Gottingen

Michael van Gerwen has claimed an eighth European Tour title of the season and the final one at the European Darts Trophy in Gottingen.

Van Gerwen saw off James Wade in an 8-3 win smashing in an 111 average in the process.
He was that good in the final that he ended up claiming it with a 170 checkout.
Other flashes of brilliance including a 119 checkout using 19, Bull, Bull.
MVG has once again performed on the European Tour this year and will go into the rest of the TV tournaments this year as a red hot favourite having silenced the critics.
