Michael van Gerwen starts proceedings off with 'Mighty Mike' facing off against Dave Chisnall in what is bound to be a fast and frenetic game between two of the fastest and highest scoring players on the planet.
Van Gerwen though has a sublime record against the St Helens ace so he will be hoping to use that against him later on tonight and with his home crowd advantage, all roads point towards MVG going one step closer to a sixth title on the spin in this tournament.
Following that is potentially the tie of the Quarter-Finals with Glen Durrant set to take on Gerwyn Price in what is bound to be an excellent battle. They are currently 1-1 in Head to Head but who will come out on top in Zwolle?
Afterwards will see the second Dutchman involved in the latter stages with Vincent van der Voort having a welcome return to the latter stages of a
European Tour tournament. He will take on Ian White though who has reached three consecutive finals so despite the crowd being in 'The Dutch Destroyer's favour, count out 'Diamond' at your peril.
Finally Peter Wright will face Mervyn King. Both players didn't have it easy getting through but they are involved and for Wright it is another good run on the European Tour and one that could end up in another final if he can get past the Bradwell ace.
