Andy Fordham returned to Lakeside on Saturday and in an interview with BDO, he called it a magic place.
He also spoke about hitting a 180 first throw against Adrian Lewis at the Grand Slam and his hopes to return.
‘’It’s just a fantastic place, I played here for a good few years and I nearly got back a couple of years. It’s just a magic place.’
‘Adrian (Lewis) said it scared him, it scared the life out of me. I was a bit worried about the crowd but it was lovely to be back up there, just makes me want to do it all the more. Just unfortunately I’ve had a bad year health wise but hopefully we’ll get back.’
