Durrant after seeing off ‘best friend’ Williams to reach final: ‘It was such a high intensity game’

Glen Durrant saw off Jim Williams on Saturday in a brilliant game against one of his closest friends.

Durrant spoke afterwards and heaped praise on his opponent in a game against Williams who he called amazing.
‘I’ve just played my best friend, he was just so good, I tried to remain calm for 95% of that game and then I think a big 115 finish and Jim said he missed a couple of darts to go four each.’
‘It was such a high intensity game and I love the guy to bits but I’m in the final and I’ve got to focus on going forward.’
‘He’s an amazing guy and an amazing darts player.’
