There's another session of the German Darts Grand Prix on the way. And this isn't an April Fool.

The afternoon session is all wrapped up. But only half of Monday's field is confirmed. Eight more players will win through the evening session in Munich. All of the top four seeds are in action at Zenith. All eyes will be on the last two matches of the evening, but every German Darts Grand Prix tie carries its own sense of intrigue.
Joe Cullen might have thought that he'd be taking on Adrian Lewis in the first match of the session. At 5-2 up in the first round, Jackpot himself must have thought so. But a stirring comeback means Yordi Meeuwisse is a man in form. The Dutchman will fancy his chances at rocking the Rockstar. Following them is another Saturday success story. Stephen Bunting registered the only whitewash win of the first round. He'll need to retain the power scoring he showed against Christian Goedl when he plays Ian White. Stoke-on-Trent's number one is fresh off a win at Players Championship 6, and will want to perform better than at the European Darts Open.
James Wade battled through a tough tie with Madars Razma on Saturday. The Machine's reward is a clash with Jelle Klaasen. His stock continues to rise in 2018 after some strong performances, but the Cobra stands in the way of continuing that upward curve. Michael Smith is definitely on the up in 2018. His quest for German Darts Grand Prix success starts against Chris Dobey, who impressed on the European Tour last week. Dobey was also one of the standout performers on Saturday, as he saw off home favourite Martin Schindler. After that meeting Peter Wright looks to resurrect his season on Easter Sunday. He plays world youth runner-up Josh Payne.
Mensur Suljovic was more involved in Tour action in March, without too much success. He will look to kick April off in style against Danny Noppert, who came through a meeting with Krzyzstof Ratajski that was far from the thrill-fest that was anticipated. Then, concluding the night, last year's finalists kick off their bid to take the title. Michael van Gerwen won that tie in 2017. His mission to dominate the European Tour this year continues against Steve Lennon, who did extremely well to hold off Nathan Aspinall in the first round. Then, capping things off, is world champion Rob Cross. He could have been taking on Rene Berndt, but for some missed match darts. Instead it's a relieved Jonny Clayton who stands in Voltage's way.
