Rob Cross
Ten players have won through today to the European Darts Grand Prix which is due to take place at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen between April 17-19, 2026.
Michael Smith, Beau Greaves, Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld were among the leading lights involved today in Leicester but only a few of those names made it through to the fifth European Tour of the season.
Cross was one of those to do so, 'Voltage' took down Charlie Manby 6-2 with a 96 average and was first through to the tournament. He had seen off James Hurrell in the round before as well as Matthias Ehlers.

Smith and Mansell continue to meet

Mickey Mansell was also among the standouts. The Clonoe Cyclone managed to win through edging past Darius Labanauskas 6-5 with a 98 average. He had seen off Michael Smith in perhaps his best display of the day. That gleamed a 106 average and continued their back and forth as of late which saw Smith call him a horrible player during a qualifier ironically for a European Tour last month.
Since then they can't stop meeting including at a European Tour in Wieze and also now in a qualifier again for a European Tour and it was Mansell again who had the last laugh averaging 106 in the process. He then saw off Labanauskas in the final round.
Other players through included Jeffrey de Zwaan who edged past Max Hopp 6-3. While Kim Huybrechts took down Pascal Rupprecht also 6-3.

Van Barneveld headlines heavy Dutch contingent

Raymond van Barneveld also booked his spot seeing off Ian White 6-2, while Madars Razma eased past Tom issell 6-0. The first through included Maik Kuivenhoven who took down Wesley Plaisier 6-2, as well as Oskar Lukasiak who defeated Richard Veenstra 6-2. Keane Barry also continued his superb resurgence seeing off Cristo Reyes with a 100 average.
Gian van Veen (1)
Gian van Veen headlines Sindelfingen.
For the other big names, it was another unfortunate exit for Dimitri van den Bergh who lost 6-5 to Adam Gawlas early on. Beau Greaves also lost to Ian White 6-5 so she won't play in Germany.
Among those already in the line-up for Sindelfingen include Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, Josh Rock, Gerwyn Price. Luke Littler again boycotts Germany, while Luke Humphries also won't play.
