PDC European Tour and is now being staged for the eighth time.
The matches can also be followed
live on PDC TV. As usual at Euro Tour events, the tournament is spread over three days, with an afternoon and evening session each day. The afternoon sessions start daily at 12:00 PM, while in the evening the first darts are thrown at 6:00 PM.
Follow the German Darts Grand Prix 2026 via our live scores! As always, the field features the world’s best players. Only Luke Littler will be absent, as he is skipping all tournaments played in Germany. Names such as Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price, Gary Anderson and James Wade will all be in action. These players are among the sixteen seeded names and therefore enter in the second round. Due to Littler’s withdrawal, Jermaine Wattimena is also among this top 16 for this event.
In addition, the top sixteen players on the Pro Tour Order of Merit have automatically qualified for the main event. They will start in the first round. This group includes names such as Wessel Nijman, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Mike De Decker, Niels Zonneveld, Raymond van Barneveld and Peter Wright.
The first round will be played on Friday, when the Pro Tour players take on the sixteen qualifiers who earned their spots through various qualifying events. On Saturday the seeded players enter and the second round is played. The finale comes on Sunday: the afternoon session features the third round first, followed in the evening by the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final.
The defending champion is Michael van Gerwen. The Dutchman often thrives in Munich and won the tournament last year for the fourth time in his career, having already claimed the title three years in a row between 2017 and 2019. In last year’s edition he defeated Kim Huybrechts, Ryan Searle, Ryan Joyce and Josh Rock on his way to the final, where he then faced Gian van Veen. In that showdown he proved too strong for his compatriot, winning 8-5. Other winners of the
German Darts Grand Prix are Luke Humphries (2x) and Michael Smith.
