The first of them is a world champion, 1995 Lakeside winner Richie Burnett. The Prince of Wales' return to top level darts continue in the British overseas territory. In the first round, he meets Adam Huckvale. Then comes two-time major winner Robert Thornton, who's without a PDC European Tour title in three years. His quest for what would be a shock Gibraltar Darts Trophy triumph begins against Iberian ace Cristo Reyes, who can almost be called a home favourite.
Vincent van der Voort will be eyeing up a tasty second round clash with Michael van Gerwen. But before he can book a date with his close friend, the Dutch Destroyer needs to see off Welsh veteran Barrie Bates. Paul Nicholson has been handed a tie with home nation qualifier Antony Lopez, who denied Gibraltan mainstay Dyson Parody a return to the Victoria Stadium. Max Hopp, already a European Tour winner this year, plays Mark Dudbridge.
Plenty of neutrals would be keen to see Jermaine Wattimena play Michael Smith in round two. Before that, the rapid Dutchman has to overcome homegrown hero Tony Dawkins. Chris Dobey and Steve Lennon meet in a highly anticipated clash between potential-laden youngsters, before it's Adrian Lewis' turn on the oche. The two-time world champion is Goliath to the David that is prodigious home nation qualifier Clayton Otton.
PDC TV will be showing every game, and coverage commences at 6.15pm.
