Gurney, Wade, Bunting and Clemens move through to Last 16 in Minehead

Daryl Gurney, James Wade, Stephen Bunting and Gabriel Clemens are the first four players to secure progression through to the last 16 in Minehead.

Gurney survived three match darts on his way to the win against Ryan Searle. It was a 97 average with 60% on the doubles for ‘Superchin’.
Wade safely progressed through with a win over the dangerous Nathan Aspinall. He ended up with a 6-4 win with four 180’s and a 98 average in what was a typical Wade performance.
Bunting had to survive a valiant comeback from Madars Razma on stage two. 'The Bullet' led 5-2 and his opponent came close to forcing a deciding leg. Despite that though the St Helens ace got over the line after a nervy tenth leg.
Gabriel Clemens then got over the line in a close clash with James Wilson. Clemens produced a 101 finish in the decider to see off Wilson.
