Harry Ward claimed a brilliant maiden PDC ranking title win this past weekend seeing off Max Hopp to win Players Championship 16 in Barnsley and an interesting statistic was revealed afterwards.

'Big H' in claiming the win has become one of the youngest winners ever on the PDC Tour. He sits fifth out of the eight revealed by PremiumDartData.
Michael van Gerwen is top having won his first at aged 19 and 11 months, Adrian Lewis is next with 20 and 4 months. Followed by Michael Smith and Max Hopp with 20 and 5 months and 21 and 7 months respectively.
All players above him have gone on to achieve a degree of success with the top two in particular doing so; as a result it could be a good omen for the Swadlincote ace.
Ward himself is at 21 and 11 months when he claimed his win just ahead of Jeffrey de Zwaan, Josh Payne and Keegan Brown.
