'It won't be long before I catch him up' - Rob Cross after final defeat

Rob Cross ended another great run by reaching his first Euro Tour semi-final then final in Mannheim before losing out to Michael van Gerwen 6-3. 'Voltage' has enjoyed a brilliant rise up the PDC rankings and is looking certain to be in the top 32 sooner rather than later in only his first year of competitive darts.
This rise has been underlined by him winning two ranking events and also getting a seeding for the Euro Tour events where he is 14 meaning he no longer has to go through the qualifiers and Cross discussed his week and also his future after the match.
'I played well this week. I've really enjoyed it and the crowd have been great. I just lost my way a bit in the final' said the Hastings native after the match.
'Take nothing away from Michael, he was brilliant but it won't be long before I catch him up. I'm going to get there'
