Wayne Jones and
Mark Dudbridge have regained their tour cards after finishing in the top 2 on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
Jones who lost his tour card last year secured top spot in the final 2017 Order of Merit with victory over Stuart Kellett in the Event 19 final to secure a full time return to the tour in 2018.
Jones had already won two Challenge Tour titles during 2017, and followed up Saturday's run to the Event 17 final by picking up the £2,000 first prize in Sunday's opening event.
On the other hand, Luke Humphries' 5-3 loss in the last four in the final event ended his hopes of claiming second place on the final Order of Merit - and the second
PDC Tour Card on offer - as he ended the season £800 behind Mark Dudbridge, the former World Championship finalist who will return to the ProTour in 2018.
'Flash' won two Challenge Tour events in 2017 as well as hitting a 9 dart finish to secure his return to the tour which unearthed Rob Cross and Ryan Searle last year who have gone on to have good starts to the life on tour.
