The second game of the night saw a polar opposite to the first match with two men in form in the form of 'The Rockstar'
Joe Cullen and the 'Demolition Man'
Darren Webster. It was Joe Cullen who prevailed despite him being a set down in the early goings.
Webster started very well quickly taking a 2-0 lead in the first set to almost leave Joe Cullen in the dust and with Cullen missing two darts at D10, Webster took out 68 to win the first set 3-0.
Cullen finally got off the mark in the match finishing 60 to go 1-0 ahead in set two. Webster pounced on more missed doubles though from Cullen hitting a 100 checkout to break straight back at 1-1.
Webster went one away with Cullen once again missing doubles and the Demolition Man hit D5. Webster missed some doubles himself missing one mach dart at D18 fora 147 checkout and Cullen hit D16 to make it 2-2 and keep himself in it.
Cullen edged ahead and took his 1st winning 3-2 and he continued his fightback in a leg that included 180's from both men to lead in the 3rd set. Webster came back to hit tops to make it 1-1 in the decider but Cullen found himself on the verge of victory at 2-1 up. Both men hit 180's and Webster sent it to a decider at 2-2. It was the Rockstar though that came through to recover from a set down.
