John Henderson is through to the Quarter-Finals of the
World Grand Prix to continue an inspired run for the Highlander. Five 180's and a high checkout of 124 sent
Alan Norris packing and he could be in with a real shout of claiming his first TV title this week.
Norris stormed to the first set dispatching Henderson 3-1 finishing on D18 for the set. Hendo started the second set by taking out 96 to try and get back on level terms.
And he did get back on level terms by winning the second set 3-0 to level the match up.
Henderson took the first leg and then rattled in a 124 checkout to double his lead and break the throw for a fifth leg in a row for the Highlander.
Hendo missed a dart at tops and Norris came back to break back after a poor set so far for Chuck. Norris hit a 180 in the following leg which meant he could steam to parity at 2-2.
In the decider for the set, Henderson came out on top taking out 25 on D8 for the set and to be 2-1 up. He started the set that could send him through by taking a quick 2-0 lead to go one away from another victory.
