Joyce dumps out Wade in seven set thriller to set up Quarter-Final tie with Van Gerwen

Ryan Joyce has dumped out another seed in the form of James Wade to reach the Quarter-Finals of the PDC World Darts Championship on his debut in what was a seven set thriller.

Wade was made to rue five match darts to seal it 4-2 and from there, Joyce used this as a catalyst to claim this huge win as he sets down a big clash with Michael van Gerwen next.
It was very evenly matched until Wade took the lead. Despite that, he missed the aforementioned match darts which was the turning point in the tie.
From there Joyce sealed a reprieve on double four to send it all the way to a deciding set. He smashed in a 110 checkout to begin the set; then broke the throw on Wade's favourite double, double ten to go one away and from there he claimed the win.
