Lam leads PDC Asian Tour qualifiers for World Series event in Shanghai

The three PDC Asian Tour qualifiers for the World Series event in Shanghai next month have been confirmed with Royden Lam, Seigo Asada and Lourence Ilagan part of the lineup.

They are three well known players who have shined on the PDC Asian Tour winning multiple events; now they have the chance to show it on the World Series stage.
Asada and Lam have previously competed on the World Series but Ilagan has not. He is a former World Championship participant; as well as a former World Cup competitor giving him experience of the big stage.
One of the players to miss out was Noel Malicdem who was the nine-dart hero in the first event and who won his first event over the weekend with Asada holding him off.
The final five places in the field will be confirmed following the qualifier on Thursday July 12; they will join Lam, Asada and Ilagan as well as the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson in the field.

Asian Representatives: Top three players from PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit following Event Six (June 24) plus five Chinese Qualifiers.
