Lam leads PDC Asian Tour qualifiers for World Series event in Shanghai

The three PDC Asian Tour qualifiers for the World Series event in Shanghai next month have been confirmed with Royden Lam, Seigo Asada and Lourence Ilagan part of the lineup.
They are three well known players who have shined on the PDC Asian Tour winning multiple events; now they have the chance to show it on the World Series stage.
Asada and Lam have previously competed on the World Series but Ilagan has not. He is a former World Championship participant; as well as a former World Cup competitor giving him experience of the big stage.
One of the players to miss out was Noel Malicdem who was the nine-dart hero in the first event and who won his first event over the weekend with Asada holding him off.
The final five places in the field will be confirmed following the qualifier on Thursday July 12; they will join Lam, Asada and Ilagan as well as the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson in the field.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. - @UndartedWaters I totally agree with your thoughts! I totally respect Kirk but in this instance I was disappointed with his lack of crowd control. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
