Lennon on Premier League debut in front of home crowd: ‘It was the best feeling ever’

Steve Lennon made his Premier League debut on Thursday night as a Contender in front of his home crowd in Dublin.

Lennon managed to pick up a draw against Peter Wright and said afterwards that to be part of the Premier League for even just one night was the best feeling.
''It was the best feeling ever, even to be part of the Premier League for just one night was sensational. I couldn’t have asked for a better entrance, I had goosebumps going up,” said Lennon to Live Darts.
“It would have been nice to get the win but it was the first time I really performed better on stage.”
“In future maybe I should relax more, I overthink TV events because of the amount of ranking points at stake so there wasn’t much at stake. It was just a great opportunity.”
