Willem Mandigers

Willem Mandigers is through to the second round and Oliver Ferenc is through to the first round as the afternoon session at Lakeside concludes.

Mandigers saw off the vastly experienced Paul Hogan with some clinical finishing throughout the contest.
This included two ton plus checkouts and was just below 50% on the doubles to underline this.
Ferenc was impressive in his win over Ryan Hogarth and could pose a serious threat to Scott Mitchell in the next round.
He won two of the sets with a clean sweep against an opponent who was highly fancied beforehand to see off the Serbian.
