Sherrock spoke afterwards about how pleased she was to claim the win and that she hopes to carry it on. ‘I’m very pleased with that game, I just hope I can carry that on,’ said Sherrock. Sherrock was also asked about whether she thinks she will have to continue the standards shown at the World Trophy to go far and she said she does as all the players can hit the big averages. ‘Definitely, we haven’t seen the other games yet and I know they are all capable of hitting 90 plus averages so I know that I need to continue the standard I just performed.’ The Milton Keynes ace will face Maria O’Brien next and she is not taking her lightly and is taking every game as it comes. ‘Maria (O’Brien) is playing really well at the moment. I’ll just take every game as it comes and see how they go.’ for more information about the 2019 BDO Lakeside World Championship.
