The first three ties of the opening round at the Dutch Darts Masters in Zwolle are complete with William O'Connor, Mickey Mansell and Brendan Dolan all through to the second day of action.

O'Connor started proceedings off with the in-form recent first time ranking event winner easing past Ryan Joyce who was returning to the European Tour in a 6-2 win. He averaged 93 meaning he wasn't close to his best but it was enough with 'Relentless' back at 87.

Mansell on the other hand edged out Kyle Anderson with the 'Clonoe Cyclone' averaging 91 in a 6-4 victory over the Australian. It was a high checkout of 120 along the way with 6/9 on his doubles being the difference.
Finally Dolan similarly came through with ease against Wesley Plaisier, the first of the Host Nation Qualifiers. It was a 6-1 win for 'The History Maker' with a 92 average with 6/15 on the doubles.
Plaisier on the other hand only had two shots at double throughout the whole contest and hit 1/2 on his way to a heavy defeat.
