The first session of action at the Dutch Darts Masters is coming towards it's conclusion with Florian Hempel, Rowby-John Rodriguez and Danny van Trijp next through to the second day of action in Zwolle.

Hempel was seriously impressive in a whitewash win over Ryan Harrington with a 92 average. His highlight was a 156 checkout with 6/11 on the doubles, could a new German star be born as a result of this debut victory?
Rodriguez was the most impressive hitting a 108 average in a 6-2 win over Mike de Decker with the Belgian playing his part smashing in a 104 average himself.

Finally Van Trijp who was playing in his second European Tour of the season was the first Host Nation Qualifier to move through in Zwolle. He saw off the in-form Keegan Brown in a 6-5 win.
Both players played their part in a superb game with Brown hitting two ton plus checkouts on the way including a 138 but it was the Dutchman who came through in a deciding leg.
