The PDC has confirmed the schedule for the quarter-finals of the World Matchplay. The eight remaining players will battle on Thursday and Friday evening for a place in the semi-final in Blackpool.
The PDC World Matchplay will get a new winner, after Michael van Gerwen and James Ware are eliminated. Jeffrey de Zwaan and Dave Chisnall will open the Thursday evening session, followed by the clash between Gary Anderson and Joe Cullen. The quarter-finals will be finished on Friday, where Mensur Suljovic takes on Darren Webster. Peter Wright meets Simon Whitlock in the fourth quarter-final match. The semi-finals are on the schedule for Saturday.
