Coverage of board one in Minehead will be broadcast throughout the weekend by ITV4. The PDC has opted to give viewers even more coverage of the event by showing a live feed of board two.
The top 64 players in the Players Championship Order of Merit clash from Friday, with a £460,000 prize pot. Rob Cross is the top seed going into the event, but Michael van Gerwen is the hot favourite.
The announcement was the second boost of the day for darts fans hoping to see live action. The PDPA World Championship qualifiers will also be available to view online, with Sky Sports offering coverage on Facebook and on their website.
