Day two and round two in Hamburg kick off with Simon Whitlock meeting Justin Pipe. Jason Lowe, fresh off victory on his
PDC European Tour debut, then plays Austrian Darts Open winner Jonny Clayton. Fellow Welshman Gerwyn Price starts his European Darts Matchplay campaign against Austrian ace Maik Langendorf.
Mervyn King opens his tournament against Paul Rowley, before James Wilson and Robert Thornton contest a third round spot and a possible match against Michael van Gerwen. Joe Cullen is the opponent for the only German of the session, Martin Schindler.
The penultimate tie is one which will be of huge importance to Alan Norris and Richard North - though neither are in Hamburg. Should Kim Huybrechts win his tie against Chris Dobey, North will claim Norris' spot at the World Matchplay. Victory for Dobey would keep Norris as world number 16.
Back to the European Darts Matchplay, Darren Webster will be looking to build on a strong Players Championship showing against Luke Humphries. All eight ties are live on PDC TV.
