Hopp thrills home crowd, Boulton and Humphries also through to second round in Hamburg

Hopp thrilled his home crowd with a victory but will have to up his average tomorrow after coming through a scrappy affair with Dirk van Duijvenbode. He hit an 84 average with a high checkout of 120 and 2 180's in a 6-4 win.
Boulton came through in a bit of a shock victory as he showed he had the X-Factor to claim a win on the European Tour stage. He defeated Cristo Reyes with an 86 average and 40% checkout rate; he will now face Steve Beaton tomorrow.
