PDC Order of Merit update: Wattimena, Van den Bergh and Durrant move up to career high position

The PDC Order of Merit has changed after the most recent weekend of Pro Tour action coming from Wigan.
Glen Durrant in particular rises further with the current three time BDO World Champion claiming his maiden PDC title. He moves up to 74th on the list and is close to the top 64 already.
Jermaine Wattimena has moved close into the World’s top 32 and is at a career best of 26th. Dimitri van den Bergh also has moved up to 33rd and one place himself from breaking into that top 32.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
