It's a little too soon to be saying who will be at the 2019 PDC World Matchplay. But four events into the 2019 season, Glen Durrant is already in the mix.

The BDO world champion has hit the ground running in the PDC. Victory over Dimitri van den Bergh on Sunday for Durrant. That give the Teessider a £10,000 boost which, along with his other earnings, puts his Pro Tour total at £16,000. According to Burton DeWitt, Duzza now sits 14th in the Pro Tour Order of Merit. With the top 16 earning a spot at the World Matchplay, Durrant is provisionally on his way to Blackpool. There isn't too much movement elsewhere with the new season in its infancy. Michael van Gerwen, winner of two Players Championship events, extends his lead at the top. Dave Chisnall also adds £10,000 to his tally for a Players Championship 2 success. It lifts Chizzy up to 11th in the Order of Merit based on earnings applicable in the race to Blackpool. Despite his injury, defending World Matchplay champion Gary Anderson is all but assured of a spot at the 2019 event if he regains fitness. With the cut-off set to be at the end of June, there's an awful lot left to be decided.
