The final has been confirmed for Players Championship 12 from Milton Keynes, it will see a first time winner on the Pro Tour this year as Peter Wright takes on Josh Payne in the final.
‘Snakebite’ defeated Brendan Dolan, who has been in resurgent form over the past two days. It was a 100 average in a 6-3 win for Wright. Despite his number one seeding, he has not won a title this year and he will have a chance to change that.
He will face Josh Payne who has been in brilliant form as of late. ‘The Maximum’ is a former winner on the Players Championship series but a few years ago. This though gives him experience going into the final.
Payne defeated a winner on the Pro Tour and a very tricky opponent as a result in Ian White 6-4 to cap off a brilliant day so far for the Gravesend native.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media.
