The Last 16 at the sixteenth event of the Players Championship series has concluded with the quarter-final line-up confirmed including the likes of Chris Dobey, Max Hopp and Nathan Aspinall.
There are also places for the likes of Robert Thornton who continues his run with a stunning 104 average in a match that also included a nine-darter from 'The Thorn' who has had a resurgent time of it today in Barnsley.
As well as that Harry Ward continues his progression and there is a welcome run for Scott Taylor who of course does not have a Tour Card and is just making up the numbers this weekend.
Today's action has got down to the business end and with a lot of players still involved who have either not won a title or not won one in a while it is sure to be a thrilling conclusion in Barnsley.
