Gerwyn Price and James Wade shared the spoils in the opening match of the Premier League in Dublin in a game between two players who have not been crowd favourites as of late.

Price though had to recover from 5-2 down in order to pinch a point against Wade who himself averaged 103. The Welshman pinched the opening leg on double four but in typical Wade fashion, the Aldershot ace tied it up with a 127 checkout.
It went to 2-2 with both players breaking each other but still getting back on terms. From there though, Wade ran away with it winning the next three legs to go 5-2 up and seemingly on his way to the win.
Despite that, Price hung on with a bullseye finish for 88 the real catalyst for him to then go 6-5 in front. In the last leg though, it was time for Wade to get his own back of sorts and he pinched a point.
